Current Going-Ons:

• Resident Artist with The Fool Volk, a collaborative group spanning artists of various backgrounds, with our resident home La Mama Galleria, working together in collaboration to produce a performative piece around La Mama Galleria’s rotating exhibit, as well as pushing experimental works of our own.

• Founder of Rivasorio Puppets, alongside Sammy Rivas, focused on intersecting puppetry with other performative and applied arts in both theater and film, and builds custom commissioned puppets by request. We recently had a residency at Chelsea Factory workshopping Pesadilla Perfecta, as well as producing three other puppet performance workshops.

• Cowriting a play with Yale Langsworthy, centered on RP, a deteriorative loss of vision and the struggles of maintaining familial, business, friend, and personal relationships.

• Writing a full length play titled Americana Nightmare, a self-destructive family horror.

• Puppeteering as Max, designed by Sammy Rivas and built by Calvin Osorio, in kid’s series Miss Sara’s Music Room.

Upcoming:

• Head puppet designer and lead puppeteer for upcoming satirical musical feature length movie Gutter Soup created by Sammy Rivas (proof of concept clip)

• Actor, Puppet Designer, and Cowriter in I’ve Got No Strings, story by Julian Cividanes.

• Building new puppet friends for Max in kid’s series Miss Sara’s Music Room for an upcoming season 2.
