It’s him!

Calvin Osorio

I’m a NYC-based actor, playwright, puppet builder, puppeteer, and director from Northern Virginia. I’m a recent graduate from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Drama.

I graduated from NYU Tisch with a focus on performance and playwriting, where I studied at Playwrights Horizons as my primary training for two years. From there, I studied at Atlantic Acting School for a year, before attending Stonestreet Studios until I graduated in 2022.

As a multihyphenate artist, Calvin is inspired and motivated by everything on the peripheral of life, the surreal, othered, uncanny, wacky, and of course the terrifying. By using these distant forces and colliding them with our own realities that we cling to, Calvin drives to invite audiences to listen closer to what the world tells us but we choose to ignore.

Passionate about developing new work, Calvin strives to make the story come true for not just the audiences but also his collaborator’s visions. There is nothing better than pushing the limits of what you think is possible.

What can an artist be without a life outside of it? During downtime, Calvin can be found gaming on his PC, reading books (just finished King Icahn by Mark Stevens), baking, and slowly watching every horror movie known to man.
